that was a great evening on wednesday with the NAOD team and the audio release function..
It felt so very great after meeting and talking with you and my favourite music director, the gentle giant ARJUN...
For me, the clippings of Nenape and Thale Novu is a real surprise package... I never expected that... But, to tell you honestly, after watching those two songs, I was somewhat relieved with great satisfaction since I was beginnig to feel whether I was having unreasonable expectations on Nam Areal Ondina after watching it's fantastic trailer...
As I said you the other day... NENAPE SONG IS PURE CLASS IN EVERY POSSIBLE SENSE... MUSIC, TUNE, SINGING, LOCATIONS, SHOTS, CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE LEAD PAIR.. AWSOME, FANTASTIC AND MIND BLOWING.. THIS SONG IS SURE TO CREATE A SENSATION...THE STARTING MUSICAL BIT OF THIS SONG IS MAGICAL AND TAKES YOU TO A NEW WORLD ALTOGETHER...

Also, start airing the songs in U2.. This is also very crucial... NENAPE song if telecasted repeatedly on U2 is sufficient to bring in oceans of spectators...
Make speical arrangements for PVR release and publicity to attract PVR audience... This movie is sure to appeal to all class of audience without the distinction of mass and class... But, I want to PVR audience to appreciate this movie for it's sheer brilliance on the technical aspects...
HATS OFF ARVIND and ARJUN for that NENAPE SONG... It's DIVINE MELODY... I AM TELLING THIS FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, NOT JUST TO PLEASE YOU... IT GIVES ME A GREAT FEELING KNOWING THAT THIS IS A PRODUCT OF KANNADIGAS...

Watched payana movie yesterday.. Oh, what a movie.. Personally, it's the next best movie after Mungaaru maLe in the recent times... SIMPLY AWSOME... It exceeded my expectations like anything.. I can't explain in words how I felt after watching the movie.. It's such a GREAT FEEL...
Hats off to the director Kiran Govi, music director Magical Harikrishna and the lead pair Ravi shankar and Ramaneetho Chowdhry..
Sadly, the movie is not doing so well in the box office...

1) Title Track... it's a small bit sung by our music director Arjun only... It tells you the peculiar ways in which people live in this world... Good lyrics too... 'bEka bitti jeevna... badudu chithranna... nakhra hodedre gunna... thaarannaaranna .. vichithravaagirthaarappa jana ee prapachadalli...
This bit is a tribute to the variety at the disposal of this maverick music director Arjun...
2) KanyaamaNi... oh kanyaamaNi.. preethsONa baare ramaNi..
fusion of old melody and rock... experimentation is good.. but, some how, the song does not appeal since it lacks a smooth flow... it starts, stops, starts again... continues like that.... lyrics is not that good...
3) Manmathana iva manmathana manadaa manege iva maalikana...
what a rocking song... new type of rock song for kannada music... you will like it the first time you listen to it... this is a new type of a song as far as kannada music is concerned and this song is sure to get the attention of non kannada music lovers also.. wait for this song to catch up... it's sure to rock...
4) Nenape .. oh nenape... The song of the album... Simply Sensational... That's the only opinion that comes to your mind after listening to this song... It's a soothing, divine and haunting melody... What a soulful singing by Kaarthik espeically the lines "Nenapirali... virahaa.. nenapirali"...
Listen to the initial musical bit in the song... it takes you to a new world... Lyrics by K.Kalyan is exceptional... This man if he concentrates only on lyrics is a junior Jayanth KaikiNi... Somehow he is lost by trying his hands at music direction...
The lines that struck me in the song are
"aaru ruthugaLa ee bhoomige yaava guruthu illa kaNe...
nooru kaThegaLa ee premige ninna horathu illa kaNe...
aa chandra thoogali uyyaaleya...
maguvaagi malagisu ee preethiya...

Be prepared by having this song in your mobile, pc and mp3 players when all your non kannadiga friends would go mad after this song and come to you asking desperately for this song...
5) Nam areal ondina .. music bit.. superb... feels like some english bit... this has been used as the background music for the trailers... that 'dhum tha dhum tha rum thaa daa' rocks....
6) Jamaayse... one more rock type song ... but some how this did not appeal me as much as manmathana iva manmathana...
7) Kaapaadiko ... bara seLeduko... one more soulful melodious number... Again singer Kaarthik at his best... lyrics for this song is also superb... this song has the haunting capability like Nenape...
8) Thale nOvu.... As I have said earlier... super Tapanguchi song... Hemanth has sung it beautifully... Normally, his voice irritates me, but in this case, his voice is spot on... the way 'thale nov thale nov thale nOvu' for the chorus is fantastic... Arjun is fast becoming a king of Tapanguchi....
Hi Arvind, along with NENAPE and THALE NOVU, according to me, MANMATHANA is sure to create a SENSATION...
Please make sure that these three songs thump the listeneres on FM radios... NENAPE IS THE TRUMPCARD... THALE NOVU and MANMATHANA should do the supporting act...
MANMATHANA is a special song since such type of rocking song is new to kannada music... this is sure to catch the attention of music lovers... Please make sure that these songs play regularly on all the FM channels...
Now a days, I am not hearing the songs of NAOD on radio city... is it stopped?... please do not slacken on publicity front...
Also, my suggestion would be do not release it in the month of december, make it as a new year gift for all kannada movie lovers... that would give you at least 6 weeks for a complete publicity blitz...
songs should be aired in U2 channel as well.. that is also very important...
Also, please try to arrange some live shows for the movie pre release...

Awesome songs and picturization arvind, nimma mele sakath expectation ide...one thing i was able to see and feel after seeing the "thale novu" song was the attitude, the kind of attitude we used to see in Ravichandran or Vishnu's movies earlier...that confidence..hats off...hope the movie matches up as well
as ranga is mentioning, plz plz give tremendous amount of publicity, no amount of publicity is enough for a movie...specially english news papers like Times oF India and Deccan herald, and Rediff, beacuse u know these days we spend more time in front of computer than TV, in all multiplexes...also in all leading shopping malls

Great movie. I see lot of 'radical thinking' behind this movie. This has to succeed. Looking forward to see more movies from director.
3rd time watching, still i cant come out of movie hangover. out of the box thinking in the film making haunts me.
