SIX PACK AND STRAIGHTFORWARDNESS

TIME TO TELL A STORY….OR TIME TO SELL A STORY?

There were times when stories were told and they got sold because they were good . Now…. These are the times where people sell stories directly.
STORYTELLING WAS ART…IN RECENT TIMES…IT IS COMMERCE…
ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY, HONEY! But, in the process of raking in the multi millions….the simple pleasures of telling a story are getting lost…

NAM AREA’s storytelling pattern evolved out of this idea to be simple and candid.. We are what we are. SIMPLE.
Recently, heard RGV on a channel saying he loved OM SHANTI OM because he got what the movie promised to. SRK with six pack… beautiful heroine in Deepika Padukone and so on.
More or less… NAM is exactly what it claims to be. SIX SONGS….ONE SIMPLE LOVE STORY …AND mikkiddella fightinge!!

It’s a fine line between pretension and presentation. In trying to present a film differently…the cliché lives on…. People often pretend to be different! Here, we are not pretending to be different. If we are by chance , different…it is because we are different …THAT’S ALL..

IN THE FACE….STRAIGHT FORWARD CINEMA..! THAT’S NAOD.

Fantastic Aravind.. I get goosebumps while reading your blog.. To know that people like you are arriving in Sandalwood itself makes my day.. We have waited all our lives waiting to see Kannada Movies making a mark at the national level .. With MUNGAARU MALE & DUNIYA, the process has started.. Now, it's people like you who can make this a distinct reality rather than a distant dream.. We would go any length to support guys like you..

Waiting with bated breath for your movie.. All the best..

Also, please make sure that film is given proper publicity with the innovatiness matching upto it's trailers.. Why I am telling this because in our Gandhinagara, it's the BIG HEROS's movies which gets all the theatres no matter how crappy the movie is .. When they see some new comers' movie making news, they use all kinds of techniques to subdue it or even finish it off.. I do not want that thing to happen to NAMAREALONDINA..

I don't know the budgetory constraint.. But, please spend enough on publicity..

Please start airing the trailers on all the available kannada channels.. I think, the trailer itself will generate a buzz about the movie..

Arrange programs in channels well in advance before the movie release so that people know that such a movie is being made..

AND MOST IMPORTANT OF THEM ALL, air all your songs on U2 well in advance and in all the FM RADIO CHANNELS.. See how the song 'NINNA POOJEGE BANDE MAHADESHWARA' has clicked for PSYCHO movie mainly through FM Radio Channels..

Mainly this movie should be targetted for PVR type of audience.. In this regards, INTERNET should be used to the maximum for PUBLICITY..

All the best again..
